The City Paper published a nice batch of top ten lists today of the best local records in 2012. Bands we’ve recommended Roomrunner, Beach House, Sexgender, and Baklavaa appeared throughout these lists. The only one missing in action is the new Carthage record, but it did just come out yesterday. It’s certainly the best heavy record from Baltimore this year, period.
